What happens when I open a document without InMath being loaded?

We have to distinguish between the following situations:

1) You open a document with InMath expressions, InMath styles etc. with InDesign, but without InMath being loaded

Your InMath styles and expressions will be preserved; however, it's not a good idea to edit within the InMath expressions, although this is of course possible! You might make then inconsistent inadvertently.

2) You open a document with InMath expressions, InMath styles etc. with InCopy, but without InMath being loadad

Due to the way InCopy works when opening documents, any InMath-related information will go lost. Hence, if you set up an InCopy-based workflow, you will need to have InMath on all involved InCopy workstations loaded.
