Creating Arrows Over Selected Text
Very often you face the challenge to add an arrow over one, two or even three characters. The arrow has to have the arrowhead either to the right, to the left, or even to both sides. If you use, for example, the OVERBAR template in InMath and have InMath insert an arrow character (for example Unicode 0x2192), then the arrowhead will be distorted, because the arrow character will be horizontally streched.
Therefore you need to take apart the arrow into three parts: the left arrowhead, the line, and the right arrowhead. With these, you can use the ARROW template in InMath in order to let the arrowheads unstreched. OK - but now you need a font having three suitable parts incorporated, fitting together perfectly. And here is the solution: the very special mathematical font topsetMathExpert41, which has a large number of different character triples incorporated.
